-Set 19 records during her career with the Buffalo State women’s basketball program. 

-Netted a school record of 32 points in her senior year against Niagara. 

-Owens scored in double figures 25 of 27 games as a senior. 

-She finished her career with 905 points in 77 games. 

-Was named to the ECAC Division III Upstate New York All-Star and Kodak All-East basketball teams in 1984.
