1981-1986 

- Member of the 1st NCAA Division III football team at Buffalo State playing both as a receiver and a defensive back. 

- Daryl Brownlee was a four time All-American in track and field (including winning the National Championship in the 55m dash in 1986) where he dominated New York sprinters in the indoor and outdoor SUNYAC Championships. 

- Brownlee set the 55-meter school record with a time of 6.35 seconds.

- In 1986 he received the Hube Coyer Award for Most Outstanding Athletic Career.
