1996-2009
- Seventh president of Buffalo State College and served for 13 years
- During her tenure was the guiding force for significant growth within the department of Intercollegiate Athletics
- Spearheaded the renovation of Coyer Field from a natural grass surface to an artificial turf surface
- Oversaw increased funding through her unwavering support of the Student Activity fee
- Oversaw the renovation of the softball field
- Was driving force behind the creation of the Buffalo State Fitness Center in 2002
- Supported increased funding and support of full-time head coaches
- Initiated plans for the construction of a new multi-purpose athletics stadium at Buffalo State College in conjunction with the Buffalo City Schools
- Was a member of the NCAA Division III Presidents’ Council from 1999-2004; Served as the chair of the Executive Committee and Subcommittee on Gender and Diversity Issues from 2001-2004; Was a member of the Financial Aid Audit Task Force from 2001-2003
- Left Buffalo State to become president of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU)
