Honorary Member 

- McDonough became the first advisor to the club football team. 

- He was instrumental in having football attain varsity status. 

- Jack McDonough was the unofficial “general manager” for football during its early years. 

- Jack also served as a very successful mediator between student leaders and athletics during the 
1980s. 

- McDonough retired in 1990 after 13 years on the job at Buffalo State.
