Buffalo State University Athletics

• Jim coached men’s rowing at Buffalo State from 1966 through 1974

• Jim grew the program from its infancy into a national-caliber program

• Jim led the team to four New York State Championships, including three in a row from 1970-1972

• In 1971, Jim led Buffalo State to a third-place showing in the United States Nationals in the Varsity 4 and fifth in the Lightweight 8

• Buffalo State was sixth at nationals in the Varsity Light-weight 8 in 1972
