- At Buffalo State, he lettered in soccer and baseball for 2 years.
- He hit .423 to place 7th in the nation in 1968.
- He was the first Buffalo State baseball player to be named All-American (1968).
- 1st team All SUNYAC 1968 and 1969 as well as batting champion with .452 average in ’68 and a .517 average in ’69.
