Janneh, a native of Gambia, was named All-SUNYAC as a defender for all three of his seasons as a Bengal from 1981-83.  He was also a two-time All-American, earning first team honors in 1982 and honorable mention accolades in 1983.  Janeh helped the Bengals qualify for the NCAA playoffs in both 1982 and 1983, before foregoing his senior season to focus on academics.
