- Paul Luczak was a member of the Buffalo State College Basketball team throughout his undergrad years while also serving on the College Athletic Board.
- He was elected Executive Vice President of the Bengal Sports Booster Club in 1983 and was later named President in 1986.
- While President, Paul Luczak supervised the establishment, growth, and funding of club programs. He assisted with the Athletic Department in establishing MVP awards for all team.
- He helped establish the annual Bengal Club Athletic Department Awards Dinner.
- He was a principle organizer of the annual Bengal Club Golf Tournament since 1984; the largest fundraising event that helps provide support for the Bengal Club and its projects.
