Buffalo State lost a valued member of its campus community last night with the passing of former men's basketball player Bradley Doyley.
Bradley, a native of Brooklyn, NY, played two and a half seasons for the Bengals from 2012-2014, appearing in 54 games, scoring 395 points and dishing out 184 assists. After leaving the men's basketball team, Bradley remained an active member of the campus community.
"He had a great spirit," said head coach
Fajri Ansari. "We still considered him part of our family. He was a great teammate."
A business major, Bradley was on track to graduate this spring. He was 21 years old.
Buffalo State Counseling Center staff members are available to support and talk with students, faculty, and staff struggling with this terrible loss. Campus community members should call 878-4436 if they would like to speak with a counselor, or know of a student who would benefit from speaking with a counselor.
