The senior business major was born in Nairobi, Kenya, but attended high school locally at Hutch Tech. Salim has been in integral part of the Bengals’ staunch defensive unit for the past three seasons. He earned All-SUNYAC recognition in each of the past two years, including second team honors in 2019, when he tallied two goals and three assists and helped the Bengal concede just 16 goals in 19 games. Buffalo State is 40-12-5 during Salim’s time with the team, which is the second-best three-year run in program history, only behind the 41-9-3 stretch from 1982-84.
