Carr backstopped the Bengals to a 3-0 upset win over visiting Division I Penn State on Friday night before a record crowd of 1,619 at the Ice Arena.  He stole the show in the first period, helping the Bengals take a 1-0 lead into the intermission, despite being outshot 19-7.  Carr made a total of 35 saves to secure his fifth career shutout and played a key role as the Bengals’ killed off a five-minute major penalty midway through the third period to seal the win.
