The junior economics major had back-to-back double-doubles as the Bengals defeated stiff competition to win the Orlando Holiday Classic. Thompson had 14 points and 10 rebounds in a 67-65 win over Carthage, and then tallied 13 points and 11 boards in an 80-72 win over North Central. He also had four blocks and seven steals in the two games.
