Cox contributed to 40 of the Bengals’ 130 points en route to the team’s second-ever SUNYAC Indoor Championship on Saturday. The junior health and wellness major was a two-time SUNYAC Champion. He won the long jump, popping the second-longest jump in the nation this season at 7.27 meters, and also ran a leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay that set a meet record time of 3:21.61 In addition, he was the runner-up in the 60-meter dash in 6.95 seconds and the 200-meter dash in 21.98 seconds (converts to 21.60 – fifth in nation), and was fifth in the triple jump (13.29m).
