The senior communication major  paced Buffalo State at the Christopher Newport New Captain Classic, winning a pair of events and finishing second in another. Porter won the 400-meter dash with the nation's 16th-best time this season at 57.16 seconds.  She also placed first in the long jump (5.37m), and was runner-up in the 200-meter dash (25.37).
