Men’s track and field athlete Mohamed Kouyate (Bronx/Dreamyard Prep) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week after his record-setting performance at the Jim Wuske Invitational at Mount Union on Saturday.
 
The junior computer information systems major won the 400-meter dash at the Jim Wuske Invitational at Mount Union on Saturday, setting a meet record with the 12th-best time in Division III this season, clocking 49.73 seconds.  His time is the only sub-50 seconds time in the SUNYAC this season.
