The junior business major repeated as a three-time SUNYAC Champion and was named Men's Swimmer of the Meet for the second-straight year.  He won the 50 free (20.47) and the 100 free (44.86) for the third-straight year and defended his title in the 200 free (1:40.22) as the co-champion finishing in a dead heat.  He posted NCAA B-qualifying times in all three events.  Mergler also helped set school records with the 400 medley and 400 free relays, and also clipped a school mark in the 100 back in the leadoff leg of the 400 medley relay.
