The sophomore defenseman and health and wellness major had a breakout weekend with four points in a win and a tie in a two-game set at Stevenson.  Matson had two assists in Friday's 6-3 win, and then added a goal and an assist in a 2-2 tie on Saturday.  Matson entered the weekend with just one point in her first 12 games this season.
