The senior business major won SUNYAC Men’s Swimmer of the Meet honors for the third-consecutive season.  Mergler won his fourth-straight conference title in the 50 free and also won the 100 back and placed third in the 100 fly, setting school records in all three events.  He added a school record in an exhibition heat of the 100 free and also helped set new school bests in the 200 free, 800 free and 400 medley relays.  During the four-day meet, Mergler played a key role in setting seven school records.
