The senior business major earned a pair of All-America accolades while setting two school and SUNYAC records at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis.  In his final race as a Bengal, Mergler finished tied for fourth in the 100 free with a new standard time of 44.11 seconds.  Earlier in the week, he raced to a seventh-place finish in the 200 free, setting records in the prelims with a  time of 1:37.87.  Mergler closes his career with a program-best six individual All-America honors.  He is the owner of nine school records including in five individual events and four relays, and three SUNYAC records (50, 100 and 200 free).
