Gioeli got off to an excellent start in the Bengals' season opener against Pitt-Bradford, netting four goals as the Bengals cruised to a dominant 8-1 victory on Thursday afternoon. The sophomore forward tallied two goals in the opening half of the game, including the game-winning goal in the 16^th minute. Gioeli continued her strong performance with a pair of goals in the second half as well.

Gioeli's four goals and eight points on the year put her in a tie atop the SUNYAC leaderboard.
