Sawyer, a freshman biology major, earns the honor for the second time this year. This past weekend, Sawyer finished with a personal best time in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.07 seconds at the Boston University Valentine Invite on Friday. Her time currently sits second in the SUNYAC and 34 in the nation. Sawyer also holds the second best time in the SUNYAC in the 200-meter dash at 25.20; also good for 20 in the country.
