Allen, a junior sociology major, was the SUNYAC Champion in the triple jump with a leap of 15.48 meters, besting the next closest competitor by over a full meter. The mark also broke Rich Pete’s SUNYAC Championship meet record (14.88 meters) and gave him the top jump in the country. Allen would later go on to finish third in the long jump with a mark of 6.88 meters and seventh in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.98 seconds.
