Sawyer, a freshman biology major, also earned First Team All-America honors for her fifth place finish in the 400-meter dash with a new school and SUNYAC record time of 55.96 seconds. Sawyer is the first SUNYAC runner to break the :56 second barrier as the previous mark was held by Madison Mulder of Geneseo with a time of 56.23. Sawyer also finished 14th in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.84 seconds to earn Second Team All-America honors.
