Allen, a junior sociology major, also had a record-breaking performance over the weekend. He broke the Buffalo State and SUNYAC records in the long jump on Saturday afternoon with a mark of 7.52 meters, which is currently the second-best mark in the country. The previous school and conference record was set by Buffalo State's Bob Jones at 7.43 meters and had stood since 1982. Allen also won the triple jump event with the top mark in the country at 15.66 meters. His second-best jump in the event would have also been the top mark in the country this season.
