Koniar led Buffalo State to a pair of victories over Connecticut College despite the Bengals being outshot a combined 71-36. The junior biology major turned aside 31 of 32 shots in Saturday’s 2-1 overtime victory, and then had 38 stops in Sunday’s 4-1 win as the Bengals were outshot 39-13. In all, Koniar stopped 69 of 71 shots faced for a .972 save percentage.
