Mergler earned the honor for the third time this year as she broke a pair of school records in a dual meet against Brockport. The freshman first set the school mark in the 100 free with a winning time of 54.98. She also broke the 200 free record, swimming the first leg of the 800 free relay in a time of 2:00.07. The relay finished with a new Kissinger Pool record time of 8:35.13. She also won the 500 free with a time of 5:27.67.
