Laster, a sophomore, leaped into the top 20 nationally in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 5.65 meters at the Cardinal Classic on Saturday. Her leap has her sitting 19th in the country and second in the SUNYAC. Laster also ranks second in the 100 meter dash, 10th in the 200 meter dash, second in the 400 meter dash, and is part of the 4x400 relay that sits first in the conference.
