Schnitzer was incredible on the mound for the week, allowing just one run over 17.2 innings for a 0.40 ERA. The freshman business major allowed just 11 hits, and sported a 1-1 record with two complete games, and also recorded a save. Against New Paltz, Schnitzer threw eight shutout innings, surrendering just four hits with one strikeout. Later that day, she threw two shutout innings in relief to record the save against Oneonta. Schnitzer also threw 1.2 innings of shutout relief in the first game of the tournament, as well as a complete game in the championship game, allowing just one run.
