Cristales anchored the Buffalo State defense at center back to a 3-0 record for the week, recording three clean sheets in the process. On Tuesday evening, Cristales played all 90 minutes in a 6-0 win over Hilbert. He was also named Most Valuable Player of the Fredonia Classic over the weekend, helping Buffalo State win the title with a pair of victories without conceding a goal.
