Mergler, a junior business marketing major, was at the center of the action last week as the Bengals swept Fredonia in three sets and pushed the St. John Fisher Cardinals to a fifth set. On Wednesday against the Blue Devils, Mergler tallied 10 kills and a pair of blocks. In Friday's effort against St. John Fisher, Mergler registered a career-high 16 kills while also tallying seven digs. Mergler has totaled 118 kills on the year while also having 36 blocks.
