McGrath, a sophomore criminal justice major, had a strong start to the season picking up two wins at the Houghton December Classic in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. McGrath finished first in the 60-meter with a time of 6.94, a new personal best and his first time running sub-7.00. His winning time of 22.36 in the 200-meter was the fastest time by over half a second. Both marks qualified McGrath for AARTFC Regionals, sit atop the SUNYAC leaderboards, and both sit top-25 in the nation.
