McCurty, a freshman communications major, had a career day in the team's overtime thriller against the Brockport Golden Eagles last week. McCurty tallied a career-high 24 points while shooting 8-10 from the field with 12 rebounds. McCurty was also 7-10 from the free throw line and played a crucial role in the final minutes to lead the game into overtime. He also was dominant on defense tallying four blocks and a steal.
