Sawyer, a sophomore psychology major, continued her already historic career by winning the national title in the 60-meter hurdles on Saturday at NCAA Championships with a new school and SUNYAC record time of 8.47 seconds. Sawyer also posted a school and SUNYAC record time in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.72 seconds where she finished second overall. In addition, her time in the 400 is the sixth-fastest in Division III history. Sawyer earned All-American honors in both events while also claiming her second career national title (2023 Outdoor 400-meter hurdles).
