Laster, a junior Africana Studies major, had a strong weekend for the Bengals, earning a pair of victories at the Geneseo Invite on Saturday evening. The junior took first in the long jump, coming up with the best mark in the SUNYAC this season and eighth-best jump in the country this season at 5.75 meters. She also added another victory in the 100-meter dash, finishing with a time of 12.53 seconds.
