Aponte, a freshman business major, had a pair of strong performances as the women's wrestling team earned two wins last week against Maine Maritime Academy and Waynesburg. Aponte picked up a pin against Maine Maritime and later went on to earn another pin in the effort against Alfred State. Later in the week, Aponte continued her success with a pair of wins against both Waynesburg and Bethany.
