CORTLAND, NY—Cortland (6-2-2/4-0-1) scored with 11 seconds remaining in the first overtime to remain unbeaten in league play and snap Buffalo State's (9-4/3-2) four-game winning streak, 2-1, this evening at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex.

Steve Orfanos (E. Meadow/E. Meadow) opened the scoring for Buffalo State just 2:48 into the game with an assist from Tony Schiappa (Williamsville/Williamsville East). Cortland evened the score in the 10th minute. Neither team would score again for 90 minutes and 15 seconds, until the Red Dragons finally netted the winner.

Cortland outshot Buffalo State 21-9 and held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Buffalo State will visit Oswego for another conference game tomorrow.
