BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (10-16/1-5) hosted the first night of the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play tonight at the Sports Arena, falling in straight sets to Fredonia (19-6/6-0), 25-15, 25-23 and 25-11.

Katie Sember (Buffalo/Kenmore West) led the Bengals with seven kills, and Lauren Palisano (Buffalo/Holy Angels) had nine digs.

Buffalo State will play face Brockport tomorrow at 4 p.m. and will play Oswego at 6 p.m.
