BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State's (10-6/4-4) playoff push took a hit today with a 2-0 home loss against Plattsburgh (6-2-1) in a SUNYAC game today at Coyer Field.

The Cardinals opened the scoring in the 18th minute, and added an insurance marker in the 69th minute. Plattsburgh then held the Bengals at bay, outshooting Buffalo State, 15-10 for the game. Dan Corti (Amawalk/Somers) made four saves for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will visit Fredonia for a “must-win” conference game on Wednesday.
