GENEVA, NY— Nicholas Petriello (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross) and Kerry Barchan (Oakville, ON/Queen Elizabeth Park) had a goal and an assist each, but Buffalo State (1-3) could not complete the sweep of No. 8 Hobart on its home ice tonight, falling 5-3.

Hobart led 2-0 and 4-1, before the Bengals attempted rally fell short. Joe Curry (Indian River, ON/Norwood District) scored the other goal for the Bengals, and Zach Grasley (Ancaster, ON/St. Mary's) made 32 saves for the Bengals. Hobart outshot Buffalo State, 37-30.

Buffalo State will open SUNYAC play next Friday at Potsdam.
