HAMBURG, NY—Buffalo State (7-14) was pushed the distance, but prevailed in five sets tonight at Hilbert, winning 25-16, 25-20, 17-25, 17-25 and 15-13.  The Bengals' seventh win of the season equaled last year's season total.

Natalie Gregory (Elma/Iroquois) led the Bengals' offense with 12 kills. Paige Ottaviano (Pt. Colborne, ON/Lakeshore Catholic) dished out 20 assists, and Maria Schaffstall (Elma/Iroquois) added 15 digs.

Buffalo State will next play at Medaille on Thursday.
