NEW PALTZ, NY—Steve Orfanos (E. Meadow/E. Meadow) netted an unassisted goal in the first half, and Buffalo State (7-3/2-1) held host New Paltz in check for a 1-0 victory in a SUNYAC contest today.

Orfanos scored the game's only goal in the 74th minute. New Paltz outshot Buffalo State, 16-10, but Dan Corti (Amawalk/Somers) made six saves to preserve the shutout.

Buffalo State will next host Morrisville on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
