BUFFALO, NY— The Bengals (12-11) couldn't manage a victory in two matches played at the Sports Arena as they fell 3-1 to the University of Rochester (14-10) and 3-0 to Keuka College (8-14).

Buffalo State first played the University of Rochester and won the first set 25-22 before falling 25-16, 25-14, and 25-19. The Bengals were led by Bree McMahon (Tonawanda/Sweet Home) who had a team-high 12 kills in the match while also tying for the team-lead in digs with Brittany Dorobiala (Lancaster/Lancaster) with each having 14 apiece. Allyson Pierce (Olcott/Newfane) had a team-high six blocks for the Bengals.

Buffalo State then fell in straight sets to Keuka College 27-25, 25-21, and 25-23. McMahon and Katelyn Grew (Lackawanna/Mount Mercy) led the team with eight kills each in the match.

Buffalo State's next action is Thursday, October 15 as they welcome local rival Medaille College for a 7:00 p.m. start time.
