PLATTSBURGH, NY—Plattsburgh (10-2-2/5-1-1) scored two second-half goals in a span of 43 seconds to hand Buffalo State (5-8-1/1-4-1) a 2-0 defeat in a SUNYAC game today at the Cardinals Field House Complex.
Plattsburgh controlled the ball for much of the game, outshooting the Bengals, 17-4. The Cardinals finally broke through in the 77th minute, before adding an insurance marker less than a minute later.
The loss was the fifth in a row for the Bengals.
Buffalo State will play at Potsdam tomorrow at 2 p.m.
