HAMBURG, NY—Buffalo State (15-11) made short work of LaRoche (2-22) and host Hilbert (3-14), sweeping through both opponents today in a tri-match. 

The Bengals breezed past LaRoche in the opener, winning 25-10, 25-9 and 25-18. Katie Sember (Buffalo/Kenmore West) had a team-high seven kills. Sherrell McLean (Buffalo/City Honors) and Katelyn Grew (Lackawanna/Mt. Mercy) each served up three aces, and Paige Ottaviano (Pt. Colborne, ON/Lakeshore Catholic) had eight assists. 

Buffalo State continued to cruise in the late matching, topping Hilbert, 25-13, 25-20 and 25-8. Bree McMahon (Tonawanda/Sweet Home) had nine kills and nine digs to lead Buffalo State, and Danielle Aurelio-Clark (Lancaster/Lancaster) had nine assists. 

Buffalo State will play at D'Youville on Wednesday.
