FREDONIA, NY—Buffalo State (17-14/2-6) split its final two conference matches to close out SUNYAC Pool Play today at Fredonia, sweeping Oswego before falling in four sets against Brockport. 

The Bengals zipped past Oswego in the opener, 25-17, 25-14 and 25-22. Allyson Pierce (Olcott/Newfane) led the Bengals with 11 kills and added six blocks. Bree McMahon (Tonawanda/Sweet Home) had nine kills and 15 digs, and Danielle Aurellio-Clark (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) had 29 assists.

Brockport topped the Bengals in the late match, 25-19, 25-14, 21-25 and 25-19. McMahon had 11 kills and 15 digs, and Brittany Dorobiala (Lancaster/Lancaster) had 16 digs. 

Buffalo State will play its final home match on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Pitt-Bradford.
