BROCKPORT, NY—Sophomore Antonio Speed (Buffalo/East) had a career-game with 26 points and 16 rebounds to lead Buffalo State (11-9/8-4) to a 74-65 victory at Brockport (7-14/3-9) in a SUNYAC game tonight at Tuttle North Gymnasium.

Jamar Gray (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) added 13 points for the Bengals, and Antonio Samedi (St. Albans/Queens Vocational) added 12 points and six boards.

The Bengals led 39-36 at the intermission, and never trailed in the second half. Brockport trailed just 67-65 with less than three minutes remaining, but the Bengals scored the game's final seven points to hold on for the win. Buffalo State outrebounded Brockport, 43-34, and outscored the Golden Eagles 34-26 in the paint.

Buffalo State will next host Cortland on Friday at 8 p.m.
