POTSDAM, NY—Buffalo State (5-3) pushed its winning streak to four and has won five of six after claiming a pair of matches today at the Potsdam Invitational, defeating Utica in four sets, before sweeping host Potsdam.

The Bengals topped Utica in the opener by scores of 25-20, 25-16, 22-25 and 25-10. Katie Sember (Buffalo/Kenmore West) led Buffalo State with 12 kills, and Allyson Pierce (Olcott/Newfane) had a team-best seven aces. Danielle Aurelio-Clark (Lancaster/Lancaster) added 26 assists, and Bree McMahon (Tonawanda/Sweet Home) had16 digs.

Against SUNYAC-foe Potsdam in the nightcap, the Bengals raced to victory, 25-16, 25-17 and 25-18. Aurelio-Clark had 28 assists, and McMahon had 14 kills. Brittany Dorobiala (Lancaster/Lancaster) chipped in 14 digs.

Buffalo State will continue play in the Potsdam Invitational tomorrow.
