BUFFALO, NY--Buffalo State (5-7/3-3) led by as many as 20 points in the second half and coasted to a 77-64 victory over visiting Geneseo (3-10/2-4) in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Sports Arena.

Jake Simmons (Rochester/School of the Arts) scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Bengals. #T.O. Jackson# (Bronx/Bronx Regional) netted 15 points had 12 rebounds and five assists. Antonio Samedi (St. Albans/Queens Vocational) also scored 15 points to go with eight rebounds and six blocked shots, and Glenroy Carr (Buffalo/Sweet Home) chipped in 12 points.

Brandon Simpson (Rochester/Wilson Magnet) was the lone Blue Knight in double figures with 10 points.
Buffalo State raced out to a 17-point lead in the opening half and led 39-30 at the intermission. The Bengals pulled away again in the final frame and cruised to the victory. The Benglas shot 48-percent from the field and outscored Geneseo 18-9 from 3-point range. The Blue Knights shot 41-percent for the game.

Buffalo State will visit Oswego for another league game this Friday at 8 p.m.
