BUFFALO, NY—St. John Fisher (15-11) defeated Buffalo State (11-14) in straights sets tonight, winning 25-20, 26-24 and 25-20, in a non-conference match at the Sports Arena.

Sherrell McLean (Lockport/City Honors) led the Bengals with 11 kills and four blocks.
Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo/City Honors) had 27 assists and Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) finished with 16 digs.

Buffalo State hosts Penn State Behrend next Tuesday at 7 p.m. for Senior Night and is the final tune-up for the Bengals before the second round of SUNYAC pool play.
