ROCHESTER, NY—Nazareth (7-6-2) outshot visiting Buffalo State (3-12) 27-4 en route to a 4-1 victory in a non-conference game today.

Nazareth netted the only goal of the first half and pushed the advantage to 3-0 with a pair of goals just 1:10 apart early in the second frame. Kirk Love (Hamburg/Frontier) got the Bengals on the scoreboard with an assist from Andrew Dugan (Schenectady/Colonie), but the Golden Flyers would add a late goal to seal the win.

Ben Spilman (Queensbury/Glens Falls) allowed on goal while making six saves, before giving way for Tim Clark (N. Tonawanda/Starpoint) who surrendered three goals and made six stops.

The Bengals will return to SUNYAC play at home on Friday against Geneseo at 3 p.m.
